Ukraine’s forces destroyed 809 Russian tanks, 169 aircraft, 150 helicopters, and 2,063 armored carriers, according to the statement.
The statement added that Ukrainian forces had destroyed 386 Russian artillery systems.
According to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), at least 2,072 Ukrainian civilians were killed in Russian attacks.
“From 4 a.m. on 24 February 2022, when the Russian Federation’s armed attack against Ukraine started, to 24:00 midnight on 17 April 2022 (local time), the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) recorded 4,890 civilian casualties in the country: 2,072 killed and 2,818 injured,” the agency said.
Since Russian aggression against Ukraine country began, almost 4.9 million refugees have left the country, while an estimated 7.1 million people have been displaced within the country.
